While the reason for the strange pink coloring of other lakes has been learned, Lake Hillier’s still is a mystery. The color of other pink lakes keeps changing according to the temperature whereas the pink shade of Lake Hilliers doesn't is very perplexing to many scientists. A few explains that the lake’s color is due to the presence of Dunaliella salina microalgae, that has a pink, red, or salmon color. This powered bolt can crash matter, spin it in a tornado and dissolve or compress it into round shapes.
As per science, these are septarian concretions. They say the rock creation started on the ancient seafloor residues 60 million years ago, through the early Tertiary period.
Each of the boulders might have begun as a base of remains shell, bone piece, or portion of the wood. Lime crystals in the ocean assembled on the surface over millions of years, then mounted up other crystals around it to create the boulder shape.
